AFTER RECEIVING THE VEHICLE BACK AND ONLY DRIVING ABOUT 300 MILES, THE SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON. THEY DID A COOLANT PRESSURE SYSTEM TEST AND REPLACED A SPARK PLUG. THEY STATED THAT COOLANT IS LEAKING INTO THE CYLINDERS. ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND WAS TAKEN DIRECTLY TO A FORD DEALERSHIP TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE. I DIDN’T GET MY CAR BACK UNTIL 9-22-18.ON MAI HAD TO PULL OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET BECAUSE I HEARD A VERY LOUD NOISE AND THERE WAS A DISTINCT ODOR OF BURNT RUBBER.THE CAR WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS THERE FOR FIVE DAYS.THE DIAGNOSIS: BAD HEAD GASKET, BAD WIRES, BAD TRANSFER CASE AND FRONT DRIVE SHAFT LEAKING GREASEĢ018 FORD ESCAPE WITH AROUND 10,000 MILES STARTED HAVING ENGINE TROUBLE WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. So the next morning I go to get an oil change and my car breaks down on the side of the road and I have the car towed back to varsity ford. So I pick up my car and it’s still acting weird. So my insurance gives me a loaner car for about a month and varsity ford fixed the muffler but they said nothing was wrong with the transmission. So I call insurance they have me send it over to varsity ford. So after like maybe 2-3 weeks everything is ok then I get rear-ended and my muffler and my transmission start messing up.
So I call up to the place again they send me to a mechanic and they fix them. Then I finally get my car back from them fixing the engine, and as I’m leaving the engine place my brake pads go out. So I have like 5 different loaner cars throughout a month. So I call up to the place and tell them and they have it towed there and they tell me they needed to replace the engine. After I get the car back from getting it fixed for the a/c the car starts smoking.
So I get the car for around $15,000 and have them fix the a/c. So just looking at the car it was a 2018 Ford Escape but while looking at it the a/c was broken so the guy said he would fix it for us. The sale I got my car from was through my bank so I thought the places the recommend would be a good place to get my car from. So I bought this car in June and I got it from a place that sells used cars.
